President Gotabaya Rajapaksa says that he has five more years to implement his policies in addition to the remaining three years.
President’s Media Spokesperson Kingsly Ratnayake tweeted that the President mentioned this during a meeting with the heads of media institutions held today (July 19).
Emphasizing the importance vaccination against the COVID-19 pandemic, President Rajapaksa had stated that Sri Lanka has become a country leading in the global vaccination drive.
The President has also pointed out the positives of bio-agriculture and requested the media heads to promote the importance in the use of organic fertilizer.
Further, the discussion had also focused on the use of renewable energy as well.
