Allowance for people who lost livelihoods due to quarantine curfew

The District Secretaries have been directed to prepare a list of names of people who lost their livelihoods due to the quarantine curfew, the Ministry of Finance stated.

Accordingly, an allowance of Rs. 2,000 will be paid to these people from next week.

The government imposed an island-wide quarantine curfew from 10.00 pm yesterday (August 20) until August 30 (Monday). – ada derana
