Minor tremor felt in Thanamalwila area

An earth tremor is reported in the area of Thanamalwila in Monaragala District today (August 24), says Geological Survey and Mines Bureau (GSMB).

According to the GSMB, the minor tremor, which took place at around 9.20 pm, was measured 2.0 on the Richter Scale.
