Sri Lanka confirms three new Omicron cases

Three new cases of Omicron Covid-19 variant have been detected in Sri Lanka, says Dr. Jude Jayamaha, Consultant Virologist of the Medical Research Institute.

This was revealed at a media briefing held at the Health Promotion Bureau today (December 22).

The new development brings the total number of Omicron variant cases to seven. – ada derana
