Ratmalana Airport set to commence international flights operations

The Ratmalana Airport is set to commence the operations of international flights from the 29th of this month, State Minister of Aviation and Export Zones Development DV Chanaka said.

The State Minister said two airlines have already expressed their interest to operate flights to the airport.

He said international flights to destinations such as South India and the Maldives are set to commence.

The Government has revealed that discussions are also underway with several other international airlines to commence operations to the Ratmalana Airport. (NewsWire)
