Increased railway fares will be applied with effect from midnight tomorrow (July 22), says the General Manager of Sri Lanka Railways.
Meanwhile the relevant Gazette notification on the train fare revision, issued by the Minister of transport Bandula Gunawardena, has been published.
Accordingly, steps have been taken to revise the railway fares for passenger transport and freight transport. – ada derana
