Sri Lanka lifts ban on importing Glyphosate

Accordingly, Glyphosate importation is now permitted under the licence issued by the Controller-General of Imports and Exports, subject to the recommendation of the Registrar of Pesticides.

This was announced in a government gazette published by President Ranil Wickremesinghe in his capacity as the Minister of Finance, Economic Stabilization and National Policies. – ada derana
